Morbark Launches New BVR Brush Chipper Line, Replaces Eeger Beever in 2024

Best for owner-operators and small-to-growth crews shopping for a new chipper in 2024

Morbark unveiled its new BVR brush chipper line at TCI Expo, with five models (BVR 10, 13, 16, 19, and 22) offering chipping capacities from 12 to 20 inches. The BVR line replaces the long-running Eeger Beever in January 2024 and features a modular design, ZeroClutch technology, reverse-style pivot assembly, and a 360-degree manual swivel discharge chute. Morbark also announced it will market UK-based Timberwolf's 6 and 8-inch chippers as the Morbark TW series starting Q1 2024.

If you've been running Eeger Beevers for years, this is the changeover you need to know about. The BVR line keeps the same basic footprint but adds ZeroClutch (no more burned clutch discs from jammed material) and easier maintenance access. The Timberwolf TW series gives Morbark a smaller-chipper option for crews who don't need a 19-inch drum every day. Worth a look at the dealer before your next chipper purchase.
The Eeger Beever is being phased out, so parts and service planning matters for current owners. The new BVR line promises less downtime and safer engagement — both directly tied to crew productivity.
